This project will train and prepare Youth Leaders on a variety of different topics including, the correct terms to use when introducing individuals with intellectual disabilities and other ways for people with and without intellectual disabilities to practice meaningful inclusion in their interactions with one another. Additionally, Heidi and Login will conduct trainings that focus on Inclusive Youth Leadership skills and what it means to be a member of the Unified Generation.

Over the course of 3 months, Heidi and Login intend to connect 50 Youth Leaders. Toward the end of the project and virtual meetings, the Youth Leaders will aid with brainstorming and developing call to action items that each Youth Leader can work towards completing, especially once the pandemic subsides and in-person gatherings are deemed safe and acceptable. Heidi and Login are combining some of the most innovative minds from around Egypt in order to stride towards the larger goal of creating an inclusive community for all.
