Lavinia and Flavia will lead a Youth Innovation Project called “Together for a Better Future,” to create an inclusive environment for youth of all abilities through educational, active, and fun activities. Lavinia and Flavia will organize four “Unified Fun Events” that will bring youth with and without intellectual disabilities together to work toward a common goal and build confidence in their abilities.

Over the course of 12 months, Lavinia and Flavia will engage over 100 participants with and without intellectual disabilities and recruit 20 coaches and volunteers to help support and mentor theyouth. Lavinia and Flavia will share the activities of the project through social media to spread awareness, tolerance and understanding throughout Romania. By starting “Together for a Better Future,” Lavinia and Flavia are empowering the Unified Generation to support their peers, regardless of differences, and experience a world that allows everyone to feel valued.
