Aldo and Maximiliano are Special Olympics Youth Leaders from Mexico who will lead a Youth Innovation Project to recruit and more young people in their community to be Youth Leaders in their schools and communities.
Over the course of three months, Aldo and Maximiliano will train 10 new Youth Leaders and establish at least one new Unified School and at least one new Unified Champion School. Aldo and Maximiliano will serve as strong role models and resources for the new Youth Leaders as they develop their own ideas and plans. By training new Youth Leaders and getting more young people with and without intellectual disabilities involved in Special Olympics, Aldo and Maximiliano are using their leadership skills to inspire others and grow the Unified Generation.
