In September 2018, Sainsanaa and Amarasanaa participated in the Special Olympics Global Youth Leadership Forum in Baku, Azerbaijan to learn how to enhance the impact of their youth leadership and establish a project plan for their basketball initiative.

Sainsanaa and Amarasanaa hope that these inclusive basketball clubs will bring students from across communities together to bond, learn, and have fun. They know that basketball is one of the most popular sports in Mongolia, and expect that bringing Unified Basketball to schools will be a popular and effective way to engage youth in the Unified Generation.

Sainsanaa is the sibling of a person with an intellectual disability. His experience as a sibling led him to join the Special Olympics movement and become a Unified Partner with Amarasanaa. Sainsanaa has learned how people with and without intellectual disabilities can learn from each other. Together, Sainsanaa and Amarasanaa hope that their basketball clubs will build sustainable friendships among people with and without intellectual disabilities. They are excited to see their peers learn basketball skills, form friendships, and live healthy lifestyles.

Sainsanaa and Amarasanaa are excited to work together as part of the Unified Generation, as being a part of the Unified Generation is extremely important to both leaders. To them, the Unified Generation means being able to speak your thoughts and feelings without discrimination. As leaders of the Unified Generation, Sainsanaa and Amarasanaa are creating inclusion in Mongolia and inspiring inclusion around the world.
