Evie and Joy will lead a Youth Innovation Project promoting inclusion in their school through the creation of a Unified bowling team and a school-wide assembly on what it means to be Unified. Evie and Joy hope to spread awareness, kindness, and understanding through Unified bowling and in the process, engage new Youth Leaders and create new Unified Champion Schools in their community.

Over the course of six months, Evie and Joy will recruit participants for the bowling team, hold an assembly, start practices and compete in a local bowling competition. As an outcome of their project, Evie and Joy are hoping to spread ideas of inclusion to other schools in their community, ultimately creating five new Unified Champion Schools and developing 25 new Youth Leaders. By starting a Unified Bowling team at their school and spreading the message of Special Olympics to other local schools, Evie and Joy are inspiring new Youth Leaders to make their own change and empowering a Unified Generation.
