Through this project, Amani and Anna will lead a Social Media marketing campaign advocating for unified sports and schools. Amani and Anna will create marketing content for facebook and Instagram of past Special Olympics past unified events to highlight the importance of inclusion. In October 2019, Anna participated in the Special Olympics Africa Regional Youth Leadership Summit in Nairobi, Kenya and learned how the importance of youth leadership and engagement can lead to a stronger Unified Generation.

Over the course of three months, Amani and Anna will involve thirty Youth Leaders with and without intellectual disabilities in their play and hope to have over 500 social media impressions. Amani and Anna have plans to expand their project to other schools and continue educating young people on inclusion in a fun and interactive way. Amani and Anna hope that this campaign will start a dialogue among students, educators, and parents. By organizing a Social Media campaign focused on Unified activities, Amani and Anna are encouraging students with and without intellectual disabilities to join the Unified Generation and express what inclusion means to them.
