The Forum, which is run in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Lions Clubs International (LCI) and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) among others, takes place from 24 to 28 September.
In September 2018, Leticia and Emanuelle participated in the Special Olympics Global Youth Leadership Forum in Baku, Azerbaijan and learned how to enhance the impact of their youth leadership and establish a project plan for their initiative.

After attending the Youth Leadership Forum in Baku, Azerbaijan, Leticia and Emanuelle saw the need for this type of inclusive development in Brazil. Currently, Leticia and Emanuelle train at the Municipal Sports Foundation and plan to us this as a place to start Unified Sports in their community. They plan to host a clinic on Unified Sports for others at the Municipal Sports Foundation and recruit other students to join. Leticia and Emanuelle’s clinic will also help establish Unified Sports teams for a future competition to be held at a nearby university.

Leticia and Emanuelle’s leadership and this project will promote inclusion for people with disabilities in sports and in everyday life, growing the Unified Generation in Brazil and beyond.
