Fatou and Diéry are siblings and Special Olympics Youth Leaders from Senegal who are leading a Youth Innovation Project together to spread the message of inclusion digitally, and to understand how Special Olympics athletes have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fatou and Diéry are inspired to take action to address the lack of inclusive virtual resources to engage with during this time.. The Youth Leaders will focus on promoting Special Olympics and the message of inclusion to others in order to recruit new Youth Leaders. Additionally, Fatou and Diéry hope to better understand how those in their own community have been affected in their own community and how they can improve inclusive interaction.

Over the course of 2 months, Fatou and Diéry hope to garner over 1000 social media impressions through their work.Fatou and Diéry are aware of the importance of spreading the word and using their own platform to encourage others to be a part of the Unified Generation. Fatou and Diéry see this is an especially relevant time to engage with those in their community by spreading their stories, delivering supplies to help deal with the effects of COVID-19, and encouraging others to be inclusive with their language and actions.
