In partnership with existing Unified Schools, Matthew and Kelvin will engage Youth Leaders with and without intellectual disabilities to be the leaders of this solution by creating water sourcing and distribution kiosks. In October 2019, Matthew and Kelvin participated in the Special Olympics Africa Regional Youth Leadership Summit in Nairobi, Kenya and learned how the importance of youth leadership and engagement can lead to a stronger Unified Generation.

Over the course of twelve months, Matthew and Kelvin will implement the water sourcing and distribution kiosks with the existing Unified Schools. The leadership shown by the Unified Schools will be used as a model to recruit other schools. They hope to establish three new Unified Schools and two new Unified Champion Schools through this project. Matthew and Kelvin, hope to promote leadership skills among young people with and without intellectual disabilities, raise awareness, improve self-esteem, and ultimately create an inclusive community for all.
