Five youth leaders from Special Olympics Trinidad & Tobago organized The Big Mix, an activity day and awareness fair designed to challenge stereotypes and promote inclusion through play. Participants took part in interactive games, unified sports, and team-building activities that encouraged collaboration, understanding, and acceptance while creating a welcoming space for community members to connect.

Project Impact
The project also demonstrated that inclusion can change the way people interact and connect with one another. By bringing different members of the community together in a fun and welcoming environment, The Big Mix helped strengthen connections across the community and laid the foundation for continued conversations around inclusion and acceptance.
Project Leaders Reflection
One of their biggest achievements was watching The Big Mix come to life and seeing its impact in real time. They were proud to see participants come together, have fun, work as a team, and experience the value of an inclusive community firsthand.
