I want to thank you for everything you've done for me and for my family-allowing me to be part of your work with the Special Olympics.

Eunice Kennedy Shriver, you have changed my life and I thank God for putting you on this planet.

It was Eunice, with her founding of the Special Olympics, who gave people like my sister a chance to thrive and be proud.

It brought tears to my eyes, and for me it has always symbolized, what Special Olympics is all about; caring, loving and helping one another.

You touch everyone's hearts and I thank you so much for everything that you have done for this movement.
