Eunice Shriver lived as a champion, and I admired her so much.

You've touched so many people in so many positive ways.

You are an inspiration and a hero to millions of people with intellectual disabilities -To me you are mummy - tough - smart - funny - competitive - driven.

It was Eunice, with her founding of the Special Olympics, who gave people like my sister a chance to thrive and be proud.

It brought tears to my eyes, and for me it has always symbolized, what Special Olympics is all about; caring, loving and helping one another.
