Every second year, the National Directors and other staff and volunteers from across Europe Eurasia gather together for the Special Olympics Europe Eurasia Leadership Conference.

Over the course of two to three energetic days, leaders from across the region exchange ideas and best practices, discuss the evolution and future of the movement and interrogate challenges and celebrate successes together. Additionally, the next Europe Eurasia Leadership Council is elected. Sports Advisors and other specialists often take the opportunity of this region-wide convening to meet together on the sidelines of the main event.

Every other year, Sports Directors and other sports staff from across our region gather at the Special Olympics Europe Eurasia Sports Conference.

These sports leaders discuss challenges and changes within sports disciplines, best practices in training and coaching and celebrate sports success stories. They also hear from sports experts and partner sports federations at national and European level. Reflecting on the most recent edition of World Games and looking towards the next instalment is also often a key focus of the conference.
