Euroleague One Team

One Team, Euroleague Basketball's corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, supported by Turkish Airlines as the One Team Founding Patron and with the collaboration of Special Olympics as Proud Partner, uses basketball to achieve real social impact in our communities. With an innovative model of interconnectedness across an entire continent, Euroleague Basketball and its clubs have developed a complete CSR program that brings together activities from each team in an integrated, impactful way, working under the theme of "community integration" that actively addresses targets of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 10 on Reduced Inequalities. Each participating club develops a specific One Team project tailored to its own community needs to benefit groups in danger of exclusion due to problems such as substance abuse, gender equality, physical or intellectual disability. Since its founding in 2012, the One Team program has reached already directly and indirectly more than 25,000 participants, involved 76 EuroLeague and EuroCup clubs and 342 Ambassadors through its various projects.

European Gymnastics Federation

The European Gymnastics Federation (UEG) formed a partnership with Special Olympics Europe Eurasia on 10 March 2011. The objective of their partnership is to grow, develop and promote the sport of gymnastics for Special Olympics athletes & Unified partners.

European Golf Association

Special Olympics Europe Eurasia and the European Golf Association began their official partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on 8 May 2013. The objective of their partnership is to continue to grow and develop the sport of golf within Europe with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

European Aquatics

Special Olympics Europe Eurasia and the European Aquatics (EA) first partnered on 3 September 2006 to promote inclusive swimming opportunities for Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners. On 4 July 2025, a renewed Memorandum of Understanding marked the beginning of a deeper, strategic collaboration. As the governing body for swimming in Europe, EA brings its expertise and network to elevate inclusive sport across the continent.

European Table Tennis Union

Special Olympics Europe Eurasia & the European Table Tennis Union first partnered on 16 May 2013 in Paris, France, with the mission of working together to expand opportunities for Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners to train and compete in Table Tennis.

International Cheer Union

In April of 2018, The International Cheer Union (ICU), the recognized World Governing Body of Cheerleading and Special Olympics International (SOI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to form a partnership that will develop Special Olympics cheerleading programs in the North America region, and support the program’s expansion to other regions of the world.

International Olympics Academy

The International Olympic Academy (IOA) is a global organisation that promotes and preserves the ideals and principles of the Olympic Movement and enhances the contribution Olympism makes to humanity. On 18 May 2004, the IOA through a signed Declaration with Special Olympics, pledged its unanimous support and affinity for Special Olympics and its athletes who exemplify the values and ideals of the Olympic Truce – reconciliation, understanding, solidarity and peace.

FIBA Europe

The FIBA Foundation and Special Olympics International partnership was established on 16 June 2019 with the aim to promote basketball as a tool for social development and inclusion.
