Since the establishment of Special Olympics in 1968, the number of people with and without intellectual disabilities who are involved with the organization has been growing, but the unmet need to reach more people with intellectual disabilities is staggering.

Healthy Athletes is a global program that offers Special Olympics athletes and unified partners free health screenings in nine different disciplines. Since 2021, Brittany has overseen the Healthy Athletes operation at major events, including the 2022 USA Games 2022 Unified Cup and 2023 World Games Berlin.
