Agoston and Zsombor are Special Olympics Youth Leaders from Hungary who will lead a Youth Innovation Project to engage Special Olympics athletes with physical activity through a virtual platform during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the course of 3 months, Agoston and Zsombor intend on engaging over 150 youth with and without intellectual disabilities through these virtual assembly sessions. Following the mass production of these sessions, the Youth Leaders will end the project on a more personalized note. Agoston and Zsombor plan on following-up with Youth Leaders to understand how they individually would like to stay more fit and healthy during this period. Then, Agoston and Zsombor will send personalized equipment to the Youth Leaders as they prepare to maintain their physical well-being. Altogether, Agoston and Zsombor are taking a community approach on tackling one of many issues during a global pandemic while strengthening the Unified Generation.
