At their school, Xavier and Emilia will expand Whole School Engagement activities, Unified Club programs, and create two new Unified Sports teams. Xavier and Emilia understand the power of inclusion and believe their project will help meet their school's goal of becoming an official Unified Champion Banner School. Being a part of the Unified Generation, Xavier and Emilia hope to inspire and educate others to see differences as strengths.

Xavier and Emilia will lead a team of 52 students with and without intellectual disabilities to plan and implement their project over nine months. Xavier and Emilia's project will create sustainable activities and events to build and strengthen a lasting culture of inclusion across Missouri. Xavier and Emilia will recruit new Youth Leaders through their Inclusive Youth Leadership Summit and engage over 600 students with and without intellectual disabilities in event activities. They hope to inspire others to join the Unified Generation to make inclusion the heart of schools and communities across Missouri.
