Soda and Aminata will help each school organize Unified Sports, Young Athletes, and recreational activities. Soda and Aminata hope that their project will help educate school administrators, teachers, and students about inclusion. In October 2019, Soda and Aminata participated in the Special Olympics Africa Regional Youth Leadership Summit in Nairobi, Kenya and learned how the importance of youth leadership and engagement can lead to a stronger Unified Generation.

Over the course of six months, Soda and Aminata will engage over one hundred young people with and without intellectual disabilities and encourage them to join the Unified Generation. At the conclusion of the project, Soda and Aminata will hold a closing ceremony to celebrate each of the schools commitment to inclusion. Soda and Aminata hope to change the way individuals with intellectual disabilities are treated in their community. Through their project, Soda and Aminata will inspire others to join the Unified Generation, fight discrimination, and spread inclusion.
