Jae-Hyung and Yung-Ho are Special Olympics Youth Leaders from Korea who are members of the Special Olympics Korea National Athlete Input Council and participated in the 2021 Special Olympics Korea Athlete Leadership Program.
Jae-Hyung and Young-Ho will lead a Youth Innovation Project to expand Unified Sports programming in Unified Schools throughout Korea. Jae-Hyung and Yung-Ho will lead a team of Special Olympics Youth Leaders and volunteers to plan interactive activities about Special Olympics Unified Sports and s opportunities for individuals with and without intellectual disabilities to participate in sports and ways youth can promote social inclusion.

Over six months, Jae-Hyung and Yung-Ho will lead a team of 35 Special Olympics Youth Leaders and volunteers to plan activities that promote the d expansion of Special Olympics Unified Sports programs in Korea. Jae-Hyung and Yung-Ho will offer monthly programs to introduce a variety of sports opportunities to participants with and without intellectual disabilities that will teach the importance of teamwork and power of inclusion. Jae-Hyung and Yung-Ho will empower participants to connect through sports and share their experiences with others in their communities. Through their project, Jae-Hyung and Yung-Ho will be able to expand the Unified Sports footprint across Korea and create more opportunities for communities to learn about inclusion.
