Special Olympics and Topgolf’s Unified Fore Joy ProAm Fundraiser Returns for Second Year with Increased Support

Inclusive fundraiser brings golf fans of all abilities together

August 27, 2025 – Special Olympics and modern golf entertainment leader Topgolf will play host to the largest inclusive golf tournament in the world during the Unified Fore Joy ProAm 1-7 September. Golf fans of all abilities will support and raise funds for Special Olympics programming at thirty participating Topgolf venues located in the United States.

"I am looking forward to the ProAm again this year. Last year I got to hang out with my friends and play Topgolf at the same time. It was so much fun! I had an amazing time and cannot wait to do it again this year,” said Jessica Rumbaugh, Special Olympics Texas athlete.

In 2024, the event saw more than 660 teams compete in 21 locations, raising nearly $560,000. In 2025, six-person teams will once again compete against each other at 30 locations, in a test of their Topgolf skills, all while raising valuable funds and awareness for Special Olympics. Check out the participating Special Olympics Programs here.

This continued support not only provides critical financial investment but also strengthens Program capacity, enabling sustainable growth and expanding the reach of inclusive golf experiences around the world. As a result, golf is becoming increasingly relevant across Special Olympics Programs, with more athletes participating and a growing number of competitive opportunities being introduced at local, national, and global levels. From 2023 to 2024, Special Olympics saw an 81% increase in the number of athletes and Unified partners (individuals without intellectual disabilities who train and compete alongside Special Olympics athletes) who trained and competed in golf worldwide.

Around the country, corporations have also joined Special Olympics and Topgolf in using sports to make the world more inclusive. The 2025 Unified Fore Joy ProAm is supported by the Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics, ARCA Continental Southwest Beverages, Professional Contract Services Inc. (PCSI) and Dutch Bros Coffee.

"When you see a Topgolf bay filled with athletes, friends, families and fans — all laughing, competing and celebrating together — you witness the true power of play. That’s what our partnership with Special Olympics is all about. It’s more than a game; it’s a movement of inclusion and joy. Unified Fore Joy ProAm brings together communities in the most beautiful way — from corporate partners to law enforcement to unified schools — all connected through the universal language of play. At Topgolf, that’s why we exist: to unite people through the power of play."
Tiffany Brush, Topgolf Senior Director of Venue Marketing and Charitable Initiatives.

In addition to the Unified Fore Joy ProAm, Topgolf locations in the U.S. will continue to support Special Olympics through the annual Giving Season 1 September – 31 October. Topgolf’s 98 U.S. venues will host their annual giving campaign, providing players the opportunity to donate to Special Olympics by donating on their check, purchasing a $5 Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics Flame icon or purchasing an exclusive Red Glove to donate $5 to Special Olympics.

During the Giving Season, Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) officers and department personnel will volunteer their time at various Topgolf locations to serve as celebrity waiters and collect tips in support of their local Special Olympics athletes. Visit www.letr.org/topgolf for a list of participating locations and dates. The LETR Tip-A-Cop® events will directly support local Special Olympics Programs.
