Greg Kozlowski, 2019 Special Olympics Orange County athlete of the year, gave his thoughts on what inclusion and togetherness mean. “Inclusion is coming together with other people around the world and becoming friends” Kozlowski said.

Dustin Plunkett, who is a Sargent Shriver International Global Messenger, gave his thoughts on the core message of Special Olympics. “The core message is that we’re all about inclusion, acceptance, and that sort of vision. Whenever you’re in doubt and you haven’t met someone with intellectual disabilities, always take the safe route and choose to include.”
