The Special Olympics World Winter Games Kazan 2022 are just one year away!

Moscow - Kazan, December 10, 2020: Representatives of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Local Organizing Committee of Special Olympics World Winter Games Kazan 2022, and Coca-Cola Russia signed a partnership agreement through 2023.

It has been a busy and exciting end to the year for the Special Olympics World Winter Games Kazan 2022 team. In the past month alone, we have announced a team of exciting new Games Ambassadors, including ice hockey legend Alexander Ovechkin, welcomed Coca-Cola on board as an official partner of the Games and opened the applications for Games volunteers!

A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to interview a Special Olympics Japan employee about the pandemic, the differences between our cultures, and our experiences with Special Olympics. I loved the opportunity of doing this and wanted to do it again.

As the second and final stage of the Special Olympics World Winter Games Kazan 2022 logo contest kicks off, three ideas proposed by the first stage winners will be used as blueprints to create the final emblem.

The logo for the Special Olympics World Winter Games Kazan 2022 will be determined by a design contest hosted by the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation in cooperation with Special Olympics Russia.
