Alana-Marie Brahler

Golf Technical Delegate - North Carolina, USA

Alana received a Bachelors of Science degree with an emphasis in Sports Management in 1994 from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and earned her PGA membership in September 2010. She is currently an Assistant Golf Professional and Women’s Golf Coordinator at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, NC host of the Champions Tour SAS Championship. She was also an Assistant Golf Professional at Forsyth Country Club from 2006-2019.

She has served as the Special Olympics National Technical Delegate for Golf since 2004, where she runs the annual National Invitational Tournament for over 200 athletes. Alana recently had the honor to serve as the International Technical Delegate for the 2011 World Games in Athens, the 2015 World Games in Los Angeles and the 2019 World Games in Abu Dhabi. She was recognized by her peers for her contributions to Special Olympics Golf by being named as the first female recipient of the Conrad Rehling award in 2012.
