Holly brings 10 years of UCS knowledge and experience to this role from her time leading the annual UCS evaluation conducted by UMass Boston’s Center for Social Development and Education. With SONA UCS, she translates research to practice and builds the evidence base for UCS impacts so that schools and SO Programs can continue to deliver inclusive opportunities that will change the lives of young people everywhere. Holly has been involved in the disability community for most of her life through her cousin with Down syndrome, an undergraduate minor in Rehabilitation and Human Services, as a vocational counselor for adolescents with traumatic brain injury, and many years spent as a companion and personal care assistant for a woman with cerebral palsy. Now, she volunteers with a local Special Olympics Massachusetts program in floor hockey and softball.
