Special Olympics announced today that it has received its largest single private gift in the organization's 53-year history.
Special Olympics Program Emergency Relief Fund
Special Olympics is the largest grassroots sports organization for people with intellectual disability globally. With inclusive sport, education, and health programming in over 200 countries, reaching over 3 million athletes with intellectual disability, our reach has drastically been affected by the devastation of COVID-19 worldwide. This Program Emergency Relief Fund will go directly to support country Programs globally as they rebuild for strength, scale, and inclusion.

Hi! My name is Alex and I go to the Arlington Career Center where I attend culinary classes! I have been a part of Special Olympics for many years and now I play Unified sports at Yorktown. Some of my favorite sports include track and basketball. As a U.S. Youth Ambassador, I have been able to talk about Unified Champion Schools across the country in cities like San Diego, Seattle, and Washington D.C.
