Tony’s son was diagnosed with autism which led Tony to discover that he, too, has autism. Last year, he attended the World Games in Berlin where both of his sons got to participate in the Young Athletes program—an early childhood play program for children with and without intellectual disabilities, ages 2 to 7 years old. His family's journey has encouraged Tony to become an advocate for autism awareness. He and his family have since created the Tony Snell foundation dedicated to promoting understanding and acceptance of autism.
