Special Olympics and Topgolf are partnered to develop the sport of Golf in Special Olympics globally. As part of this partnership Topgolf will provide access to their 100+ Topgolf facilities to Special Olympics athletes, unified partners and coaches for training and competition. Special Olympics has worked with Topgolf to introduce a set of rules that position the game of Topgolf as an event within the Special Olympics Golf enabling Special Olympics programs to offer Topgolf to their athletes as an additional official competition opportunity. Special Olympics and Topgolf are committed to work together to increase participation in the sport of Golf while demonstrating the transformative power of inclusive sport for all.

It’s at the local level—right here—where interested volunteers meet the athletes. That’s where the perceptions start to change and where the miracle of transformation takes place.

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Those activities give them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship.

International Floorball Federation

Special Olympics and the International Floorball Federation began their official partnership on 9 December 2011 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. The main objective of the partnership is to promote and develop the growing sport of Floorball among Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners around the globe.
