Hannah Teter and her brother, Amen Teter, grew up snowboarding, inheriting a love for the sport from their parents. Raised in Belmont, Vermont, they spent their childhood on the slopes, where their values were shaped through resilience, discipline and early success.
Hannah became the youngest member of the U.S. Snowboarding Team in 2003 and earned her first X Games medal at just 16. A decorated Olympic gold and silver medalist, Hannah has since used her platform to advance humanitarian causes. She has served as a Special Olympics Global Ambassador since 2014, inspiring athletes and fans around the world to choose kindness and inclusion.
Amen Teter is the Director of Global Action Sports at Octagon and one of the leading agents in the industry. He represents top athletes across snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing, including his sister, Hannah. His career began in Vermont, rooted in his family’s deep connection to snowboarding, and has grown into a mission to elevate athletes, expand opportunity and preserve the authenticity and inclusivity of action sports.
Together, Hannah and Amen champion the message of the Spread the Word campaign, empowering young leaders to speak up to end the R‑word, address bullying and promote kindness.
