Special Olympics Global Ambassador and Steelers Cornerback, Joe Haden, spoke to Today Show about how Special Olympics has impacted himself as an ambassador and his brother and Special Olympics Pennsylvania athlete, Jacob Haden. Joe’s brother was born with a cognitive disorder, which affected his ability to speak. Joe’s inspiration from his brother to stay positive, along with his love for sports, is why he has made the commitment to support Special Olympics. Joe recently had the opportunity to tell eight athletes and their families that they had been selected to represent Special Olympics Pennsylvania in the 2022 USA Games.
