This quiet and focused young man possesses a quiet determined spirit.A silent performer, Jamie Mills is a dedicated 35-year-old young man who works as a mechanic at the St. Christopher Air and Sea Port Authority in St Kitts.His passion lies in sports and community involvement. Since his days in Primary School, Jamie has been actively involved in sporting activities.He has represented both his local village team and Special Olympics St Kitts and Nevis in football at the local and regional levels.
In addition to his work and sports commitments, Jamie also serves as the ‘Athlete Leader’ on the Special Olympics St. Kitts and Nevis Board of Directors and he also serves on the Caribbean Athlete Leadership Council advocating for his fellow athletes and ensuring their voices are heard.He is a beloved member of his church and local community, actively participating in the Tabernacle Youth Community Development Group where he resides.
Outside of football, Jamie also has a deep love for cricket and believes in the power of sports to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities and create positive change. Through his work on and off the field, Jamie Mills is making a difference and thereby inspiring his fellow athletes and all those around him to do the same.
