Karen’s mission is to be a part of the process that makes this world a more fair, diverse and full of opportunities for all persons with different abilities.
Since 2016, she has taken on the role of National Director of Special Olympics Bermuda and is a long term campaigner for the rights and inclusion of children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Professionally, for the past 20 years, Karen has been employed in a rewarding career as a Corporate Administrator, administering local and international companies. Currently working as an analyst at the Bermuda Monetary Authority, Corporate Authorisations Dept.
Karen is the mother of 2 children, one being a Special Olympics Athlete (equestrian) and keeps very busy but when she does get the chance, she loves to go to the beach, travel and spend time with friends.
