Urimondjiara Ruzo was born in 2004. He attended Moreson Special School, where he specialized in bricklaying and plastering. He joined Special Olympics Namibia in 2019. He plays basketball, soccer, and floorball. His passion for leadership grew over time, motivating him to pursue training to better support others.
Urimondjiara completed several Special Olympics online courses, including Special Olympics Fitness for the Sport Coach, which trains coaches to support athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities to stay fit; assistant coaching; and the Heads Up to Youth Sports Coaches: Concussion Training. In addition to being an athlete, he actively visits schools alongside Special Olympics Namibia coaches to assist in training sessions.
He is also a dedicated member of the Special Olympics Namibia Youth Leadership Council. His love for leadership led him to Health Messenger training, where he learned to advocate for athlete well-being and inclusion. After training, he taught other athletes about eating healthy and hydration. He taught the athletes to make water taste better by adding fruit.
When not coaching at schools or serving as a Health Messenger, Urimonjiara watches national soccer matches or plays soccer or basketball. His proud moment was leading the athletes' oath at one of the National Games in Namibia.
