Abdennour from Morocco is 21 years old and joined Special Olympics in 2023 after attending a university workshop that introduced him to the movement. He was deeply moved by the energy and resilience of the athletes, and their strength inspired him to take action and stand up for inclusion. As a finance student, he has participated in awareness campaigns and supported Special Olympics events with dedication and heart. These experiences have deepened his belief in the power of inclusion to unite and empower communities. Joining the Global Youth Leadership Council is an opportunity for him to proudly represent Morocco and help inspire other young people to become true leaders of inclusion. Special Olympics has taught him that inclusion is not about giving—it is about growing together.
