Thomas from the United States is 20 years old and a neuroscience major on the pre-med track at the University of St. Thomas, where he plays on the university’s rugby team and continues his passion for inclusion. His journey began in high school through Unified PE, where he coached the school’s first Unified basketball team and developed a deep commitment to the mission of Special Olympics. Alongside his longtime friend Rylynn Zanon, Thomas has served as a Unified Club co-president, a Special Olympics Minnesota Student Board Cabinet member, and a Special Olympics North America Youth Ambassador. Through these roles, he has led impactful initiatives across schools and communities to promote inclusion and youth leadership. As a member of the Global Youth Leadership Council, Thomas hopes to inspire others to embrace inclusion, empower youth to lead with confidence, and build bridges between athletic communities and the Inclusion Revolution.
