Rain began volunteering with Special Olympics Macau in 2023 during her final year of upper secondary school, inspired by her family’s belief that everyone has a responsibility to contribute to society. Throughout her school years, she embraced leadership opportunities, serving as president of the String Orchestra, vice president of the Science Club, treasurer of the Red Crescent Society, and vice team captain of Macao’s National English Debating Team. Rain’s commitment to inclusion led her to support individuals with intellectual disabilities by offering companionship, encouragement, and standing against discrimination. Her experiences have strengthened her passion for advocacy and built her skills in communication, organization, and leadership. As a member of the Global Youth Leadership Council, she is committed to amplifying the voices of people with intellectual disabilities and using the platform to learn, lead, and inspire action that furthers the mission of Special Olympics.
