Alvaro Brochero

Football - Assistant Technical Delegate - Special Olympics Venezuela

Alvaro Brochero is an athlete leader with Special Olympics Venezuela and has represented his country in two Copa América tournaments. In 2020, he was elected President of the Regional Leadership Council of Athlete Leaders for Latin America. Alvaro has served as a field commissioner at the 2022 Unified Cup and has participated in the Youth Leadership Summit in Panama and the Global Athlete Congress at the 2023 Special Olympics World Games in Berlin. He currently serves on the evaluation committee for the 2027 World Summer Games in Chile and is a member of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Venezuela. His experience as an athlete leader and his involvement in Special Olympics leadership and competition provide a valuable athlete centered perspective to the Football technical committee.
