Alvaro Del Pozo Jacobs is a sports management professional with a background in Economics and extensive experience in the planning and delivery of international sporting events. He currently serves as Chief Operations Officer at PanAm Aquatics, where he leads strategic planning, budget oversight, and the execution of continental aquatic sports programs and international competitions. Alvaro has served as Sport Group Manager for Aquatics Sports at the Santiago 2023 and Lima 2019 Pan American and Para Pan American Games, overseeing operational planning across multiple disciplines and advising on major infrastructure. He has also held leadership roles with the Peruvian Sports Institute, including High-Performance Centers Coordinator and Tokyo 2020 Program Coordinator. His experience managing complex, multi-country sporting projects provides strong operational expertise for Santiago 2027.
