Swimming - Assistant Technical Delegate - PanAm Aquatics

Andrea Estefanía Pineda Anaya has been involved in sport and the Olympic movement from an early age, beginning as a volunteer with Special Olympics El Salvador in 2005 and serving as a timekeeper at the 2006 Central America and Caribbean Special Olympics Games. She has approximately 20 years of experience as a swimming official and more than 11 years as an international referee. Andrea served as an International Technical Official at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and has been a member of the PanAm Aquatics Swimming Technical Commission for seven years. She has also served as an International Technical Delegate at the Central America and Caribbean Games in San Salvador 2023 and Santo Domingo 2026. Her career reflects a strong commitment to professionalism, transparency, and the continued development of international aquatic sport.
