Athletics - Assistant Technical Delegate - Association of Panamerican Athletics

Giovanni Cardona Gomez has 30 years of experience in athletics and is a World Athletics and World Para Athletics International Technical Official, Competition Director, and Technical Delegate. He has provided technical leadership at World Championships for both organizations and is a certified Competition Director with World Athletics. Most recently, Giovanni served as Competition Director for the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi, India. His extensive experience in international competition operations and technical management will support the delivery of high-quality athletics competition at Santiago 2027.
